Skagit Valley College ECEAP Preschool proudly preparing children and supporting families for a lifetime of learning with classrooms in Oak Harbor, Central Whidbey and Anacortes. Because many factors affect a child’s ability to learn and develop, ECEAP embodies four interactive components: Family Support, Health and Nutrition, Education and Parent Involvement. Children's services and benefits in
clude: engaged in first hand purposeful exploration and investigation of real-life materials, people, organizations, systems and events. Intentional choice making, problem solving and reflection, gained awareness of their own feelings and the feelings of others. Develop self control, creativity, resourcefulness, self-confidence and a passion to learn. Families will find many ways to be involved, learn about child development, enjoy building community relationships, assist and volunteer in the school. Parents become involved in leadership opportunities and receive community resource information.
