Get ready, future Explorer Kindergarteners — Kinder Camp is coming! Join us for a first look at kindergarten life at Broad View — a chance to meet your teachers, explore the school, and get excited for the year ahead.
While kids rotate through each kindergarten classroom for hands-on activities with their future teachers, grownups are invited to an informational session with the principal, school secretary, counselor, and PTA to learn everything there is to know about Broad View.

We will open at 10am on Aug 19th due to work with our new Solar Panels. BVE office is open from 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm until August 28th. We will resume regular office hours 8am-4pm August 31st.

We are committed to reducing expenses for families. We are able to provide some school supplies to all classes and academic and extracurricular programs through the incredible generosity of our community’s support of our local levy. Our schools will purchase some of the basic supplies students need for learning, as we do with books and other materials. Below is a list of supplies we ask families to provide from home.

Broad View is getting a little upgrade! Thanks to a grant we are getting Solar Panels installed. So if you see a bunch of construction people on the roof, they are here to improve our wonderful buildings. Thank you to Garland Co., James King roofing, McKinstry, and Solar Teck for your amazing work!

Reminder: The last day of school will have early release times for all schools today, Wednesday, June 17. Please see the schedule below:
Oak Harbor High School (OHHS): 11:15 AM
North Whidbey Middle School (NWMS): 11:00 AM
Oak Harbor Intermediate School (OHI): 12:25 PM
Oak Harbor Elementary (OHE): 11:50 AM
Olympic View, Broad View, Crescent Harbor, and Hillcrest Elementary: 12:05 PM
Please plan accordingly for transportation and pick-up. We wish all of our students and families a wonderful and safe summer!

If you have a student that goes to the Boys and Girls Club please note that they are closed for the rest of this week. You will need to pick your student/s up today, 6/16 at 3:20 and also bring them to and from school tomorrow, 6/17. Tomorrow is the last day of school and gets out at 12:05.
