The final day of high school for the Class of 2026 was on Friday, June 12. The students received awards for their consistent hard work and dedication from the past four years. Not only were the seniors celebrated, but the rest of the wildcat student body was recognized for the success and achievements of trimester 3 as well. Additionally, the assembly recognized high school staff! We thanked five retiring staff members: Ms. Byers, Ms. Bain, Mr. Christensen, Ms. Christensen and Mr. Richardson - as well as the coach of the year: Mr. Wesley. The graduating seniors experienced their final farewell but left with the advice and love of the saying “Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!” After the seniors were excused for grad practice, other classes were promoted; transitioning the Class of 2029 to Sophomores, the Class of 2028 to Juniors, and the Class of 2027 to Seniors!

It’s raining papers! On Thursday, June 11, the Class of 2026 kept another tradition alive with the annual Paper Toss to celebrate the end of their high school journey. Seniors filled the SUB, tossing four years’ worth of old notes and assignments into the air to celebrate all their hard work. And: Shoutout to the Juniors for cleaning up so that this epic tradition can live on next year!

Beautiful weather, perfect picture sunshine, and a packed dance floor – OHHS Prom 2026 was one for the books! Students danced the night away on Saturday, June 6, under lanterns and strobe lights while snacking on cotton candy and popcorn courtesy of ASB. It was a bittersweet final dance for the senior class, but truly a night to remember forever. 🎉
