Mark your calendars for the OHHS Band Club Car Wash Fundraiser on September 5!

Come support our hardworking Show Band students as they raise funds to help pay for buses to two upcoming marching band competitions! Every donation—big or small—will help get our students on the road and ready to perform.

After three weeks of long days, weird sun tans, ouchie sunburns (the scalp one are not fun), sore arms, legs, feet, we have made it to the End of Camp Celebration! We’re back
 for band camp! First half of the day was all marching basics. We were so happy to get flags in our hands after lunch. And the wind was generous enough to introduce itself to all of our new members too. 😬

Every year, the OHHS Guard staff hosts an annual online Pampered Chef Fundraiser supporting the Oak Harbor High School Band Boosters. August is when they offer a double-donation fundraiser. So instead of earning 15% of sales we get 30%. Last year, this brought in about $300. We’re hoping we can double that this year. The host receives NO rewards, it all turns into cash and a check is sent directly to the OHHS Band Boosters!

Every order, big or small will help get us closer to reaching our goal. Last day to order is August 15th. Please share with everyone you know. This is not limited to our area only. Anyone can order and support our cause!

Show Band families! You’re invited to attend a Show Band Parent Info Meeting on August 7th at 6:00pm. Students are also welcome & encouraged to come.

We will go over:
- upcoming season schedule
- rehearsal/performance expectations
- required gear
- volunteer opportunities

There will also be a Q&A session to answer any questions you may
have.

After the show band meeting, we invite you to stay for our band booster meeting at 6:30pm. There are lots of moving parts to make Show Band happen along with all the performances and events that follow within the school year. Please stay to hear volunteer needs and more so we can make this season as efficient as possible and give the kids the best experience possible.
