Featured Former TBSC Dancer- Kaeli

My name is Kaeli and I started ballet with Miss Diane when I was 10 years old and continued to the end of high school! Since then I’ve graduated from Gonzaga University and have moved to New York City. My years with Miss Diane gave me a lifelong appreciation for the arts and inspired me to find creativity in everything I do. I’m now a Sr. Graphic Designer (here’s me in front of a billboard I designed that was displayed at Madison Square Garden!) and to this day still take ballet classes in the city. You can still find me practicing a pirouette or développé in my kitchen!

Hii! I believe I started dancing with Miss Diane when I was 10 years old, and since then I’ve had such a deep admiration for ballet. Because of my dance background, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Disney Cruise Line and experience things I once only dreamed of! I’ve also worked in marketing, where I’ve been able to use the creativity and discipline that dance has given me in a completely different way.

I’m forever grateful to Miss Diane and The Ballet Slipper for being such an important part of my journey and for giving me a love for ballet that continues to this day! 🤍

Hi my name is Ainsley and I am finishing up my senior year of Nursing school at Gonzaga University! I am captain of the dance team, we do jazz and Pom performances for men and women’s basketball games, pep rallies and other events on campus. I am also recently engaged! ☺️🤍
I danced with Miss Diane for 14 years and absolutely loved it! I made lifelong friendships and Miss Diane taught me skills that I still use today in every day life. I would not be able to dance and have the work ethic I have now if it was not for all my years at The Ballet Slipper! Miss Diane has been a huge part of my life and I am so grateful for the memories she made for me.

We wanted to share some updates on our beloved TBSC dancers.

“I’m currently working as a nurse! One of my favorite memories of dancing with Miss Diane is the beautiful friendships I got to have through the studio. I am grateful for the way Miss Diane encouraged me to bring to life each role I was placed in. She pours herself into each show so passionately, and teaches her dancers to do the same! She really exemplifies passion and dedication to her dancers and to our community.”🤍
