Hello Families,

We hope that you are enjoying the last weeks of summer. As you prepare for the upcoming school year here are some important details and dates to help you get ready:

Open House -
Join us for our Open House on August 27th from 3:30pm-5:30pm. We will have student schedules available for pick up and yearbooks on presale. (Schedules will also be available on Skyward on the afternoon of the 26th.)

First Day of School -
Tuesday, September 1st
First Bell: 9:00am / Tardy Bell: 9:10am
Dismissal: 3:40pm

Students may arrive a few minutes early so they have time to settle into their classrooms. Select areas of campus open at 8:40 am.

Bus Routes -
Families who have received transportation services in the previous school year do not need to submit a new transportation request unless they have a change of address. New transportation requests can take up to 5 business days. Route assignments for the new school year take place at the end of August. Please review your route details ahead of time so your student knows when and where to meet the bus. See the district website under Resources for all transportation details.

School Lunch Forms -
Please remember to complete the annual School Lunch Form. Submitting this form helps ensure access to meal programs and assists with school funding. You can complete the form online at https://trst.in/PmMmzD.

Supply Lists -
As we gear up for a fantastic school year, here is a quick guide to the supplies your child will need for class:

Requested Student Supplies:
Colored pencils
#2 pencils
Glue sticks

Recommended Personal Items:
Reusable water bottle
Backpack
Headphones

Helpful Classroom Donations Contributions of the following items are always greatly appreciated to help keep our classrooms supplied throughout the year:
Tissues
Hand sanitizer
Fine-tip dry erase markers

It’s been an amazing summer serving our community, but all good things must come to an end! TOMORROW will be our last 7-day breakfast and lunch summer meal bag pick up before school starts. You can pick up meal bags at Oak Harbor High School or Olympic View Elementary School beginning at 11:30 AM. Spread the word, share this post, and come say hi to our team one final time!

OHI ABC Countdown to an OH-Mazing Summer! Until the end of the school year each day we will have a spirit/activity theme day. Check back on Friday for next week's themes.

The themes for each day this next week are the following:

Monday, June 8th - Stuffed Animal or Sunglasses Day
Tuesday, June 9th - Dress Like Your Teacher Day
Wednesday, June 10th - USA Day
Thursday, June 11th - Video or Vacation Day
Friday, June 12th - Western or Wacky Day

Please remember to dress appropriately for each day! These days encourage showing spirit and do not interfere with learning.
