AMS 6th grade orientation will be Wednesday, September 2 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. All rising 6th grade students are invited. This is a great time to get your schedule, meet your teachers, and familiarize yoruself with the building before the 1st day. Hope to see you there!

Open House for all students is the next day, Thursday, September 3 from 11am - 1pm and/or 4pm - 7pm. We are looking forward to seeing our students once again!

Attention rising 7th graders: Students entering 7th grade need to be up to date on their Tdap booster, HPV, and MenACWY vaccines. Schedule an appointment with your child's provider to ensure this is completed by the first day of school.

Any AMS student in need of a sports physical can get one at AHS on 7/30 from 12pm-5:30pm. Immunizations are also available for those that need them. See more details below:

ATTENTION FIREBIRD NATION -- Eastern Shore Rural Health pediatric providers will conduct well-child checks and sports physicals on July 30, 2026 at Arcadia High School. Cost is $44. First come, first serve. Let's go Birds!!!!

Attention rising 6th and 9th graders!

All students entering 6th grade at Arcadia Middle School or 9th grade at Arcadia High School for the 2026-2027 school year must verify their residency. Families must provide three documents that prove residency. Residency can be verified Monday-Thursday in the main offices of the schools. Examples of acceptable documents below:

Friendly Reminder, 8th grade promotion ceremony this evening at 5pm. Students must arrive no later than 4:30pm. They will report to their 1st block teacher on the 6th grade hallway. Doors will open at around 4:45pm.

Each student has recieved 3 tickets to distribute to 3 family members/guests. All guests must have a ticket upon entry.

Guests can park in the bus parking lot, the front of the building, or the teacher's parking lot. Guests will be able to enter the building through the bus parking lot doors and/or the teacher parking lot doors. The doors at the front of the building will be closed and locked.

All guests must go through bag check/metal detectors upon entry.

Support the American Cancer Society!

Mr. Bell and his 7th-grade students are once again selling comic books to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Our students have worked hard to design, write, and create their own original comic books.

Students, staff, and community members can purchase these comic books for just $2 each, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society.

Comic books will be on sale this week and next week. We hope you will consider supporting this important cause. In return, you'll receive an awesome, student-designed comic book while helping make a difference in the fight against cancer.

AMS Panther Staff getting the pre-SOL jitters out with a good ole-fashioned secret spirit week!
