After a wonderful maternity leave soaking up time with my newest little one, I’m excited to share that we are officially back and accepting interviews!

We currently have one full-time opening available and will also have a split enrollment spot opening this fall.

Life update!! From our owner, Bryanna- I am currently on maternity leave as we welcome our newest little love into the world. 🤍

I am so grateful for the outpouring of interest, inquiries, and support during this season. Our community truly means so much to me. Because of the recent higher volume of messages and the need for my focus to shift to my pregnancy and family time, I’m unable to respond to inquiries right now.

I will begin returning messages and responding to enrollment questions starting May 8th. If you’ve reached out, please know your message is important to me, and I’ll be in touch as soon as I’m back.

We’re still here — and fall is coming!

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted- our wonderful kiddos have been our top priority, so our socials have taken a back seat 🫣

Wild Roots Playschool is as alive as ever — full of joy, curiosity, and connection. And we’re so excited to open our circle to new families this fall!

$125/week

✨ Half-Day Mornings (7:30am–12:00pm)
Choose from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
$50/week for 1 day
$75/week for 2 days
$95/week for 3 days

Hello all! Wild Roots is looking to hire a part time assistant for our facility in Oak Grove, MO.

Start date would tentatively be March 1st. Ideally, the contracted hours would increase as enrollments fill up. The hours would start at 7:30-12:30 Monday-Wednesday and would most likely peak at 7:30-12:30 Monday-Friday with the opportunity to stay longer from time to time. Eventually, the assistant would act as a substitute in the case of an illness or emergency (this would likely be 6 months-year after hire). Pay is negotiable for the right person and would be a 1099 or cash position.

This would be a great opportunity for:

- A stay at home mom who is looking for a flexible way to make some money and be able to bring their child with them
- A college student or young adult who is interested in or studying early childhood education
- Anyone who is passionate about all things early childhood education

Must haves:
-Reliable
-Compassionate
-Loving
-Accepting of all parenting and medical choices
-Willing to do continuing education including books, articles, and courses (Would be paid for and provided by Wild Roots)
-Able to pass a state background check and fingerprint process
-Able obtain a CPR certification (paid for by Wild Roots)
-Able to complete state required trainings
-Able to pass a medical evaluation

Nice to haves:
-Childcare experience
-Familiar with Reggio Emilia approach
-Lives a holistic lifestyle
-Understands an adult’s roll in fostering an environment that supports independent play

Happy New Year to our Wild Roots families and community!!

We have a couple of exciting announcements to make about the direction Wild Roots is heading in 2024. In order to serve as many amazing families as possible, we will now be prioritizing regular enrollments. As of the first of the year, the enrichment program on Thursday and play groups on Friday will be discontinued.

What does this mean for our Wild Roots community?

-Thursdays and Fridays are now available for regular enrollments for Morning, Afternoon, or
All day slots.

-A waitlist is available for families needing full time care (Monday- Friday 7:30-5). If you are interested in joining the waitlist for full time care, please text 816-588-3717 or email [email protected] to set up a tour and interview!

-Play groups will be scheduled twice a month during the evening hours and weekends.

Hey all! We have availability for our drop off enrichment classes tomorrow morning and our 9 AM play group! Drop off enrichment are first come first serve drop classes for kiddos 2+. Hey all! We are so excited to be able to say that spots at Wild Roots are filling up! I wanted to give a quick update on availability. By the beginning of the year I will no longer have morning or full day availability. There will also only be 2 afternoon spots available Monday-Wednesday. If you have an existing spot at Wild Roots and are wanting to increase your days/times, please let me know asap!
