🚒🚓 A Special Visit from Our Community Helpers!

Last week, we had some very special visitors at Resurrection Preschool! We were excited to welcome members of the Oak Forest Fire Department and Oak Forest Police Department to our classroom!

Our preschoolers had a wonderful time learning about the important jobs firefighters and police officers do to keep our community safe. They loved getting an up-close look at the equipment and vehicles our community helpers use every day!

A HUGE thank you to the Oak Forest Fire Department and Oak Forest Police Department for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit our students, answer their questions, and make learning about community helpers so much fun!

We are so grateful for all you do to keep our community safe! ❤️

⭐ Our little stars are ready to SHINE! ⭐

Tomorrow we welcome our preschoolers for their first day of school! Tonight, each child has a special Ready to Shine Star to tuck under their pillow—a little first-day tradition to help take away those nighttime worries and remind them just how brave they are.

We can’t wait for a year filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and so many new adventures.

Sweet dreams, preschoolers. We’ll see you in the morning! ⭐💗
