🐝 HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, STINGERS! 🐝

The PTO wishes all our students and staff an amazing year ❤️

Let’s kick the year off with a contest! Drop your first day of school pictures in the comments for your Stinger’s chance to win a prize! Please include student’s name and grade.

✳️ Our sign in the front of the school will be up until tonight, so make sure you come by and snap a pic if you haven’t already.

Pictures must be submitted by 8pm on Wednesday, September 2.

Don’t forget tomorrow is our annual Scoops for Stingers event at Oberweis🍦🐝

The event runs all day (10am-10pm), and is the perfect place for a back-to-school celebration!

Oberweis will generously donate 20% of orders back to us when you mention the Fierke PTO.

The PTO sponsors 3 room parties each year (along with the 5th grade year-end celebration).

This year our 3 parties will be:
🎃 Halloween: Friday, October 30 9:30-10:30am
❄️ Winter: Tuesday, December 22 10-11am
❤️ Valentine’s: Friday, February 12 2-3pm

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at Fierke’s Open House on Monday! 🐝

The PTO will be in the gym, so please stop by and say hi 👋

We’ll have volunteer sign ups, general PTO info and fun stuff for the kids!

And if you sign up for a PTO membership at or before Open House, you’ll be entered to win a prize basket put together by our Community Outreach committee! 🎉

We accept cash, check and mobile payment (Cheddar Up).

✨ Before and after! ✨

Our Little Free Library 📚 is back up and running after a much needed makeover.

The library was donated by the 2021-2022 PTO board and is stewarded by Mrs. Honkoski. It’s been well loved and used over the years, but after 4 years of sitting in the elements, the wood was discolored and splintering.

We hope this fresh coat of paint will keep it protected for years to come and continues to foster a love of reading among Fierke students.

Stop by to donate your old children’s books and see if there’s something your family might enjoy! 💛🖤

(And thank you to the maintenance crew for removing the hornet’s nest that was under the roof! 😬)
