From his roots on a North Dakota farm to building Transwest Trucks with his wife Barbara, George has lived a life deeply rooted in agriculture, horsemanship, and community. His dedication to preserving Western heritage shines through ventures like Steamboat Lake Outfitters, the Flying E Ranch, and his support of youth in agriculture.

As a National Western trustee and vice chair of the Capital Campaign, George’s leadership continues to help shape the future of our organization.

He will be honored at the Citizen of the West Dinner, which supports scholarships for students pursuing agricultural and veterinary studies.
