What an exciting move to have closer to home and in a place that the shotgun kids know well!

“When Hornady took over management of the Heartland Shooting Park, hosting the Cornhusker State Games shooting events was one of our main priorities,” said Steve Hornady, President of Hornady Manufacturing. “Seeing this goal achieved is extremely rewarding and we are thrilled to provide an amazing venue that will welcome shooters from all across Nebraska," he added.

The Cornhusker State Games is one of the largest amateur sporting events in the nation, attracting thousands of participants each year. We can't wait to see everyone in 2025 for the Cornhusker State Games Shooting Sports!

New officers will be elected at this meeting!!

Congrats to our club members who continue to grow!

Congrats to Ian and Case Shane who became apprentice shotgun leaders this weekend in Trenton.

Also congrats to HCSS Alum Andrew Koehlmoos who became a level 2 instructor in NC last week.

The extension office is excited to announce that 4-H enrollment for youth is open for 2025!

Youth can enroll at v2.4honline.com
(system is not quite ready for adult volunteer
enrollment so please watch for notifications)

Holt County Shooting Sports Families, please make
sure you get enrolled by January 1, 2025. It is never
too early to enroll in 4-H for the year!

Shooting sports projects will continue to require project enrollment
due to the parental consent required for participation.
