Proud News for Fulton Junior High School!

We are thrilled to announce that Fulton Junior High School has officially been awarded the Purple Star School Designation by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for the 2026–2027 school year!

This prestigious designation recognizes Fulton’s strong dedication to supporting our military-connected students and their families. As a Purple Star School, Fulton has met rigorous criteria showing that our staff and community go "above and beyond" to help military-connected youth navigate school transitions, build strong connections, and thrive both academically and socially.

Help Fulton Junior High School reach our $10,000 goal to raise funds for House Activities and a NEW gym sound system! We’re selling Double Good’s award-winning popcorn, and 50% of every sale goes directly to supporting our school.

On Friday, Cryder House hosted Fulton Junior High’s FIRST Mini Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 👟💜

Our Panthers came together to walk for those we love, those we remember, and the millions of families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

But we didn’t just walk…together, our Fulton community raised $2,500 to donate to the Alzheimer’s Foundation! 💜🙌

We are incredibly proud of Cryder House for bringing this cause to Fulton and even more proud of the way our students, staff, and families rallied together to make a difference.

One incredible example of what can happen when we come together.

Did you know there’s IRON in your Cheerios?! 🤯

Our 8th grade scientists put it to the test! 🧪 Students practiced separating a mixture by crushing Cheerios, dissolving them in water, and using a magnet to actually pull out tiny pieces of iron from the cereal! 🧲🥣

Science you can SEE…in your breakfast! 👀

So the real question is…if you eat enough Cheerios, does that make you IRON MAN?! 🤔😂🦸
