👻 Don’t ghost us this week, Cougars!

We need our students at school Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM–2:45 PM — including Wednesday!

A reminder that our elementary schools dismiss early this Wednesday, October 7th for Parent-Teacher Conferences, Carriel has a full school day. The buses will finish their elementary routes and then come back for our junior high students at our 2:45 dismissal time.

🍂 Four school days.
👻 No ghosting.
💙💛 Let’s have a great week, Cougars!

🌱🌶️ Fun in the Carriel garden Friday!

Students had a chance to pick some fresh jalapeños, and Mrs. Mellenthin has one very important rule: Don’t eat the vegetables straight from the garden.

Apparently, that rule applies to the principal, too.

Should have listened. 😳🔥🌶️

That was one HOT jalapeño!

🎣 Carriel After School Experience (CASE) Fishing!

Our students enjoyed getting outside, spending time together, and putting their fishing skills to the test!

Judging by the smiles—and a few catches—it was a great day! 🐟

A big thank you to Ms. Glover and Mr. Bacon who make experiences like this possible for our students!

🎉 Congratulations to our newest National Honor Society inductees! 🎉

Tonight, we welcomed an outstanding group of students into Carriel’s chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.

NHJS is about more than strong grades. Membership represents a commitment to the four pillars of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character—qualities we challenge our students to demonstrate not only in the classroom, but throughout our school and community.

Congratulations to all of our inductees and their families! We are proud to have you representing Carriel! 💙💛

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ HOME MEET SHOUT OUT! 💙💛

Shout out to our XC team for a great showing at our home meet! Our student-athletes are tough and determined!

XC isn’t easy—it takes grit to keep pushing when your legs are tired and the finish line still feels a long way away.

Thank you Coach Williams, Riggan, Director Mister, families, staff, and everyone who came out to cheer on our Cougars!

Way to run, Carriel! 🐾🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
