Raghav Mani, an eighth-grade student at Wydown Middle School, was given two awards at the end of the year; Most Improved Percussion and Outstanding Percussion. I'm very proud of the work Raghav has done, and look forward to his continuing artistry in percussion!
Cooper Deschryver, an eighth-grade student at Christ Community Lutheran school, has earned the Lutheran South Class of 2026 Arthur& Ruby Baisch Award Given for outstanding musicianship and musical merit, this award comes with a $500 tuition assistance for his freshman year at Lutheran South High School. This award can be renewed each year if he maintains a 3.0 GPA and continues to participate in the Lutheran South band.
I'm very proud of the work Cooper has done to this point, and look forward to watching his continued growth in music. I'm honored to be his teacher!
