It was SO fun to see Ella receive her FIRST EVER trophy. She can’t wait to do this again in KC next year.
He doesn’t know this, but when Elijah left the studio today, tears of pride rolled down Ms. Jan’s cheeks—-it was priceless. The only thing we love more than teaching—-these kids. 💗💙💗💙💗💙

Sehej competed in the AAA Class this year—the highest level of any of our students. A few weeks ago, I was so stressed about his readiness—but in the last few weeks, he spent so many HOURS practicing. Happy to report ALL those extra hours paid off. He nailed it and I am soooo proud of him. Now—let me go dye those grey hairs he just gave me. 🤣😂🤣

Ms. Alicia loves these kids so much. She would do anything to help them pass time between events—even Uno No Mercy.

This may be one of the funniest photos I have ever taken—-while Pranov was playing, his entire family had their ears up against the door, trying to hear him. No joke—-this is more stressful for parents than it is for kids.

Day 3: Students have now competed in 63 events —126 pieces of music—and have earned superior ratings in 56 of the 63. I’m overwhelmed with pride—and also so relieved for the kids. It takes so much practice, perseverance, composure, confidence, and courage to even attempt this challenge, that their participation alone impresses me. Well done!!
Day 4: We have 8 more events tomorrow morning before the awards ceremony. One of those is a first for 88 Keys——we have a PARENT performing for a judge! Go Katie!!!

All the smiles! Even the trophy presenter can’t believe Ziva earned all those awards! And, how cute is Natalia?!?
