We are bringing the beach to Cadence Academy this week!

Many classrooms are exploring the beach and seashells in different ways. From counting, to crafts, and sensory tables, we are playing in the sand and dreaming off sunny days ahead.

It may be gloomy and rainy outside, but the sun is shining and we are enjoying the beach in our classrooms.

These last two weeks have been filled with nothing but fun and special events!

We got the opportunity to celebrate our teachers, moms, and JK graduates!

As we are wrapping up the school year and shifting into summer fun, we have so much to be thankful for and to reflect on.

Our Preschool is growing, kiddos are graduating, and we have learned so much over this last school year.

We are full steam ahead into Summer 2026… who’s ready?

✨10 Years with Cadence Education✨

Ms. Diana and Ms. Nussi are celebrating 10 years of teaching with Cadence Education!

We are so lucky to have these two amazing educators on our team. They have touched the lives of many children and families during these ten years. From the little hugs, big celebrations, and everything in between Ms. Diana and Ms. Nussi have been there for it all.

Ms. Nussi and Ms. Diana make sure every child that enters their class feels loved and welcomed. They create fun lessons and help their kids grow. If your family or child has experienced their classroom you know exactly what I am talking about.

Celebrating these two is the best way to kickoff Teacher Appreciation Week! ❤️

The Fireflies have been learning all about Birds this week!

They created bird nests, practiced what it is like to pick something up with a beak, and played in a real-life size bird nest. They worked on patterns and directions! The Fireflies have had a blast and continue to learn and explore.

🌎Earth Day 🌎

Yesterday we celebrated Earth Day! Lots of classrooms got outside to play, go on a nature walk, and do some of their activities. From recycled art projects to digging in the dirt, we had a blast celebrating our planet.

We also started our community garden! The Squirrells planted flowers, carrots, and potatoes. We are so excited to see it grow!

The Jellies made sheep! 🐑

Students used toilet paper rolls to stamp circles on construction paper! Once the paint dried, Ms. Gabby cut the bodies of the sheep out and added a face and legs. Students had so much fun painting with recycled materials and seeing their finished sheeps!

🛝Day of Play 🛝

We had so much fun at the park! There is nothing better than getting to see your friends and teachers from school at the park. We ran, spun, and played all morning long!

We have had so much fun celebrating the Week of the Young Child!

On Thursday, we had lots of kiddos painting outside, crafting 3D structures, and getting creative with different art projects.

On Friday, we got to celebrate our families! Students created family portraits, discussed everyone who lives in their home, and built houses!

This week has truly been the best. We love getting the opportunity to celebrate the children and see them express themselves.
