REMINDER: The Fall Break for Fort Zumwalt West High School students, faculty, and staff will run from THIS FRIDAY, October 20 through Tuesday, October 24. School will resume on Wednesday, October 25. Have a great break, everyone!

Fort Zumwalt West hosted a reception for its APEX students Thursday during seventh hour. The AP scholars were recognized for their hard work in the program. More than 150 West students scored a 3 or higher on their AP exams last spring.

A drunk driving reenactment took place at West High yesterday for juniors and seniors as part of Homecoming week. It was a depiction of the potential perils of intoxicated driving. We would like to thank our First Responders and student actors who participated in the portrayal.

Today, Fort Zumwalt West had its first ‘Alma Mater Wednesday’ as a group of students and teachers sang the school’s alma mater during daily announcements. The Alma Mater, which was composed by former West choir director Beth Fritz, was sung by students Addison Keith, Autumn Beck, Jordan Thompson and Cris Artigas; and teachers Ms. Boschert & Ms. Villhard.
