Summer Camp Week 4 - The Little Blue Truck (Color: Blue)
This week we had a visit from 2 Girls and a Farm Mobile Petting Zoo. The children loved seeing, petting, feeding, and learning about the animals (a mini cow, a mini donkey, a sheep, and 3 tortoises). Throughout the week, children engaged in lots of activities that included the color blue: making slime/oobleck, free art time, fingerprint "blueberries" in a basket, Pete the Cat activities, and so much more!

Discovery is closed today, Friday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth.
We will reopen on Monday, June 22nd.

Summer Camp Week 3 - The Carrot Seed (Color: Orange)
Last week, children engaged in lots of activities that included the color orange: color mixing, free art time, tie-dying shirts, creating collage suncatchers, taste-tested different "orange" foods, planted carrot seeds, played hot "carrot" (like hot potato), and so much more!

Purple Room children walked to the O'Fallon Sports Park to enjoy their last day of summer camp! They saw lots of fish and turtles in the pond, played on the playground, and enjoyed delicious popsicles! We hope you have an amazing rest of the summer!💜

Foam & Flight - Bubble Parties was at Discovery's summer camp today! We sure know how to beat the heat! Check out just some of the bubble fun that was had by the children AND the teachers!!💙

Summer Camp Week 2 - Little Red Hen (Color: Red)
Last week, children listened to the story "The Little Red Hen". In the book, the Little Red Hen did not share with her friends but Discovery's Little Red Hen (Ms. Gabi) visited each classroom and she and the children made cheesy bread together that they did share. Children also had lots of activities that included the color red: cutting and eating strawberries, free art time, creating collage suncatchers, color red scavenger hunts, and so much more!
