Nyssa FFA Chapter Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve. To accomplish its mission, FFA:

Good Morning, Please see individual links in the comments for the Malheur County Fair FFA Entry Registration. Students, you must complete the correct form if you are bringing an FFA animal to the Fair.

You also had to submit your animals through ShoWorks and complete the MOU process to be eligible to register.

🎓 Nyssa FFA Senior Spotlight
🎓 Greta Chamberlain • Class of 2026

Some of Greta’s favorite FFA memories include District Dairy Judging and State Livestock Judging during her freshman year, experiences that helped shape her passion for agriculture and livestock judging.

Among Greta’s biggest accomplishments in FFA are qualifying two proficiency areas to the national level and winning both the Malheur County Cattlemen’s and Overall Grand Champion Steer contests at the Malheur County Fair in 2023.

Outside of FFA, Greta enjoys anything involving cattle and working at the feedlot, including roping, processing, and sorting livestock. She also enjoys music, singing, writing songs or poetry, and spending time outdoors enjoying sunsets. Greta has been involved in a variety of extracurricular activities throughout high school, including athletics, 4-H, FCA, NHS, and student leadership.

Following graduation, Greta plans to attend Southwestern Oregon Community College to compete in track and field while earning her associate degree before continuing her education at Eastern Oregon University to pursue Elementary Education and one day return home to teach kindergarten and help run the family feedlot.

Congratulations to Greta on graduation! We wish her all the best in her future endeavors and know she has a bright future ahead. 💙💛

We will be holding a summer SAE and fair planning meeting on Friday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ag Shop. During this meeting, we will go over the SAE visitation schedule, answer questions, and talk through what to expect for the fair. Please come if you are able. If you cannot attend, a recap will be sent out by email afterward.

Register now for the Treasure Valley Community College Trades Summer Camp.
Two days. Five trades. One project the student takes home.
The TVCC Trades Summer Camp is back at the Advanced Energy & Trade Center in Ontario, OR — June 29 & 30, 2026. High school students 16 and up will get hands-on experience in building construction, electrical, plumbing, advanced energy, and facilities maintenance — every student rotates through every station.
By the end of day two, each student will have used real tools, real materials, and real techniques from all five trades to assemble a project they keep. They'll walk out with the build, a starter tool kit, and a real sense of what these careers look like up close.
