Many women put their makeup on the way they ‘think’ they are supposed too.

Sometimes just a few tweaks though make such a difference from the way you normally wear your makeup.

She opted for a softer hair color and I softened her brows, lips, and under eye

But she was also using too much face powder which is too matting and drying.

I went for less powder and a more dewy look.

More youthful.
More soft and feminine.

When you are open to change and listen to a professionals suggestions, you are able to experience and see things from a different perspective and decide for yourself.

Her hair wasn’t done yet of course, but still snapped a pic.

When doing makeup on mature women over 45 it’s so important to have freshly exfoliated skin, proper hydration, use of color correctors, and a light hand on face powder.

Any of this sound like you?

✨ I hate looking overdone and like a Drag Queen when I get my makeup done.

✨ I’m confused about what makeup to buy and how to apply it?

✨ I don’t have the time or $$ to invest in all the products they use on YouTube tutorials.

✨ It doesn’t matter what I look like, it’s my character that matters.

So, are you still applying your makeup the same way for the last 15 years?

Every woman has to wear makeup at some point in her life and on some occasions to look more ‘polished’, ‘professional’ and yes… more approachable and desirable.

Understand that by learning ‘technique’ and what works for you from ‘influencers’ is more about THEM making
$$$ from promoting product, than from actually teaching.

That’s why you are overwhelmed and have way more product than needed.

I’m a minimalist in most things.

In my surroundings, in my clothing style, and also in my makeup routine.

It is very possible to use minimal product, products that serve ‘duel’ purpose, and look polished and put together without all the overwhelm.

Let’s stop with the over contoured, over highlighted, over bronzed, over browed, and show girl lashes.

Let’s also stop with over 45 year old women trying to do their makeup like they did in their 20’s

It doesn’t work anymore, trust me.

I know. I’m over 60.

Aging and fearing midlife it is NOT the time to stay the same, shrink and hide.

Middle age is not the end, and its not the beginning of decline.

Middle age is the ‘pause’ in life that is needed for ourselves to reexamine, shift and change course.

This s the time to decide what you want your future to be.

THIS is the TIME FOR REBiRTH and inner POWER.

It is a time to reach the highest of our potential, and strip away the nonsense and the fear.

Just like the Law of Attraction teaches us, what you focus on is what you will attract.

What you focus on is magnetic to us.

Are you going to focus on fear, and giving in and giving up?

Or are you going to focus on health, and a youthful attitude and mindset?

You always have ‘choices’

My purpose on this earth is to serve,
and makeup is the tool I use to step into my purpose.

At my heart I am a ‘teacher’ ‘guide’ and mentor

I never had inspirations to be a social media ‘influencer’.

I didn’t get into makeup or business to be on Tik Tok, You Tube, or do Reels every day.

What I DO love doing is ‘in person’ makeup demos and instruction.

I understand how women want to look and feel, at ANY age.

I understand mature skin.

I understand having a light hand, using the least amount of product, but still getting the ‘wow’ factor.

The makeup industry has lost itself.

Makeup Artist are learning from people that are PAID to use as much product as possible.

Makeup is NOT supposed to look like you are going on RuPauls Drag Race.

There are so many things I see woman doing that a few simple tweaks make such a difference.

✨Not doing proper face prep first before makeup

✨Too much foundation

✨Over-concealing under eyes

✨Too much face powder

✨Liner and mascara mistakes

✨Too dark eyebrows or no brows at all

and much more

Makeup actually is so easy and so simple when you understand ‘basics’ and apply them to YOUR face.
