My name is Drew Smith, and I am excited to serve as Principal of Noxapater Attendance Center for the 2026-2027 school year.
I am a proud product of the Louisville Municipal School District, having graduated from Louisville High School in 2008. My family has been deeply rooted in public education for three generations, which has shaped my passion for this profession. I began my higher education at East Central Community College before earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University. I later obtained my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
I spent six years teaching in both Mississippi and Tennessee before transitioning into school administration. I am happily married to my wife, Corrine Smith, an outstanding educator, and we are blessed with our five-year-old daughter, Leighton, who is the joy of our lives. Our family is actively involved at First Baptist Church in Louisville.
I firmly believe that every student can achieve success when they give their maximum effort, to the best of their ability, each and every day. I strive to model and instill this mindset in everything I do.
I am truly honored and thrilled to join the Noxapater family and look forward to working with students, families, and staff as we continue this important journey together.
