With Friday’s crossover loss, Novi’s football season has officially come to a close. The Wildcats finished ranked #39 in Division 1 — just outside the playoff cut (top 32 advance).
On defense, Alex Abler and Emilio Acosta led the team with 10 tackles each, while Colin Edwards added 8 and Ty Anderson had a 48 yard interception.
On offense, Cooper Koceski caught a TD and ran a 2-point conversion, Anthony Madafferi ran for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns (plus 25 yards on a kick return), and Aiden Cook drilled a 43-yard field goal and 2 PATs.
Novi finished the season 3–6 while playing one of the toughest schedules in the state — six opponents advanced to the playoffs (Howell, Northville, Brighton, Hartland, Salem, and Traverse City Central). The Wildcats earned quality wins over Northville, Canton, and Plymouth.
Proud of the effort and fight all season long. 💚 We wish all of our seniors well! You will be missed!
Go Wildcats! 🐾
