Novi dropped a tough fought game to Salem on Friday night 14-26.

Cody Walker was 16-31 passing for 275 yards and 2 TDs!

Johnny Woytowich had 7 receptions for 131 yards and a TD with a long of 66 yards. Cam Ellison also added a TD with 78 yards on 2 catches, while Aidan Cook rushed for at 44 yards on 15 attempts while also going 2-2 on PATs.

Alex Abler led the defense with 14 tackles, 7 solo tackles and an interception! Ayden Marcum, Eli Whitesel, and Caleb Thampan also added 10 tackles each.

Novi varsity dropped the opener to a tough TCC team on the road.

Cody Walker led the offense 23-38 passing for 268 yards and 2 TDs.

Colin Leggett led receivers with 5 catches for 80 yards while Johnny Woytowich also had 5 catches for 40 yards and a TD.

Aiden Cook kicked a 47 yard field goal with room to spare that was 1 yard away from the all time record for Novi HS.

Alex Abler led the defense with 17 tackles and 7 solo with 1 TFL in 3 quarters.

We are back in action Thursday on the road at Salem in our first league matchup!

This is a friendly reminder that we will be hosting a coach's introduction and a brief parent meeting this evening at 6:30 PM in the Novi High School auditorium. We will be holding a 2nd parent meeting in the fall, but we wanted to provide an opportunity to meet our staff before we get any further into summer.

I am extremely honored to be leading this program and look forward to seeing everyone tonight at 6:30pm.
