We're so proud of our educators! Recently, Learning Care sent nine teachers and directors to Capitol Hill to take part in the Early Care and Education Consortium's Teacher Fly-In. These women represented different schools, different states and different Learning Care brands, bringing perspectives that were as unique as the communities they serve.

Our educators spoke directly with Congressional members about their passion for work in early childhood education, how increased funding would impact educators and families alike, and the part we all play in improving children's development and long-term success.

This trip is just one part of Learning Care's continued advocacy efforts to shape early childhood education and ensure all families have access to quality care. Together, we can make a real difference for the future of our children.

Pathways Learning Academy at Faith Promise Pellissippi is open and welcoming families, and just last week, we marked the milestone with an official ribbon cutting ceremony!

This is the first of two Pathways Learning Academy locations opening this summer through our strategic partnership with Faith Promise Church, bringing premium early education to families across Knoxville.

Pathways Learning Academy at Faith Promise Pellissippi offers programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-K, each designed to support children at their own stage of development.

It's National Safety Month and we're proud to spotlight Samantha W., a Team Lead at La Petite Academy in Tampa, FL who recently demonstrated extraordinary courage and calm under pressure during a classroom medical emergency.

When a 4-year-old child began seizing, Samantha quickly assessed the situation, began CPR and directed team members to call 911 and notify the child's mother. She continued life-saving care until emergency responders arrived and helped ensure the child was safely transported to the hospital.

Her swift actions made a meaningful difference in the outcome of this event. It's a powerful example of how effective safety training, preparedness, and adherence to protocols directly protect children when it matters.

Samantha was presented with the Good Catch Award in recognition of her heroic efforts. Thank you, Samantha, for being an incredible example of leadership, safety and heart in action.

Join us in celebrating Miss Shelvie as she marks an incredible 40 years with our Learning Care family this month! 🎉

Shelvie's journey started in 1985 as a substitute teacher, and her career grew to include roles as a Preschool Teacher, Food Specialist, Assistant Director, Director, and District Manager before ultimately returning to the classroom, where her passion first began.

Her journey is not just a story of longevity, but of purpose, connection, and heart—and her legacy lives on in every child, family, and colleague she has inspired. Congratulations, Shelvie, and thank you for your incredible dedication to Learning Care. ❤️
