Studio 4 Art's Drawing and Painting Classes are off to a phenomenal start! And - there's still time to sign up!! Classes are prorated with payment plans available.

Your young artists will explore the fundamentals of drawing and painting through a series of engaging projects designed to ignite creativity and enhance technique. From exploring graphite shading and perspective to experimenting with vibrant mixed media, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and more! Each session offers a blend of traditional methods and contemporary approaches.

Our classes are student initiated - meaning your child's interest is the driving force in our lessons. We introduce materials and technique, providing prompts and questions, while supporting their interests!

Studio 4 Art, Celebrating 24 years of Summer Camps! Registration opens January 20th at 9am.

June 16-20 Fashion + Design ages 6-10. This will be our 16th year hosting this camp due to its popularity, and it just keeps getting better!

June 23-27 Furry Friends Camp ages 6-10. Welcome to Furry Friends Camp, a pawsitively fun experience designed for young animal lovers and aspiring artists!

July 7-11 Young Entrepreneur Camp! ages 7-13 Join us as our campers engage in activities like designing flyers, logos, creating artwork (they choose their medium) and setting up individual tables to sell their goods.

July 14-18 Pottery Throwdown ages 8-13. Young artists will dive into the world of ceramics with a fun and competitive twist!

July 21-25 Sweet Treat! ages 6-10 . A delightful celebration of creativity inspired by a variety of sugary delights! This camp invites young artists to explore the vibrant universe of desserts all through the lens of art—real food will become our still-lifes and inspiration.

July 28-August 1 Swifties Camp ages 7-11. Step into a world of creativity, music, and friendship as we draw inspiration from the iconic Taylor Swift, blending art and melody into an unforgettable camp experience!

August 4-8 Design, Make, + Build Architecture Camp ages 6-10. Welcome to our Design-Make-Build Treehouse Architecture Camp! Whether it’s a cozy single-level hideaway or an ambitious multi-level masterpiece with pulley’s, the design is in the hands of each camper.

August 11-15 Wicked Adventures ages 8-11. Imagination takes center stage in a world of artistic exploration and magical fun! This camp invites young artists to immerse themselves in whimsical, hands-on sparkly art projects inspired by the enchanting world of potions and magic.

For all positions at Studio4Art LLC and Do ART studios:

* Teaching experience and/ or experience working with children and families

* Art experience and knowledge of art materials

* We will train the right person for most of our positions available

You will:
* Be teaching preschool, elementary school age, or middle school children fine art skills in our studio(s) depending on your skill level
* Be trained in teaching Studio 4 Art’s philosophy and teaching style
* Facilitate programs/classes/projects as assigned by Studio 4 Art
* Work part-time (10-20 hours a week)
* Encourage student creativity and enhance art techniques
* Assess needs of students encouraging them and being assistant to child initiated projects
* Communicate with parents about what their child is learning or has mastered
* Participate in professional development as required - weekly staff meetings
* Create an environment of respect and rapport, with a balance of FUN
* Manages student/client behavior
* Establishes a culture for learning and respect of all
* Utilizes questioning and discussion techniques
* Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness
* Show a capacity to improvise/interact spontaneously with students

Requirements
Must pass a background check. Must have reliable transportation.

Do Art is unique in its teaching approach to all art projects and introduction to art materials and follows Studio 4 Art pedagogy. Our curriculum is progressive, child-initiated, and thought-provoking. Studio 4 Art creates and writes all curriculum that is used at Do Art, training our teachers on our philosophies and procedures. How to teach the whole child and honor each as the individuals they are is a pretty special way of teaching. We provide growth in children through honoring ideas, executing dream designs, guidance through questions to engage problem-solving, build creative thought processes through mistake-making, and celebrate collaboration

Fashion design, Ceramics, Clay + pottery, Architect camp, Young entrepreneur camp (super excited about this one, sharing what I learned as a young entrepreneur and campers will even sell goods they made), modern masterworks mashup (skill building), party in the house (yes lots of singing to Taylor Swift songs), and this year for the first time we’ll have extended camp hours in Novato as we team up with for those ages 8+ during clay weeks.
