Great weather, fun water play time with the children yesterday. Water calms the mood of the children, creates their creativity and concentration, develops teamwork.

Leaf stamping, feeling the texture, identifying the sizes and smelling the scent of the leaves were our Friday activity. We had a nature walk and leaf searching for a big leaf for our leaf stamping art craft today. But they enjoyed feeling each leaf they found and some of them even smell the scent :) 🌲🍀☘️🌿🌱

Our colored spray bottles are always the popular outdoor activity in our school. They love to spray it on the ground or in the white towel. The children also make different shapes or create their own images through the colored spray bottles :)

She is really motivated to put the US puzzle together and naming some states. At this age, the child still has the sensitive period until 6 years old. Children are able to absorb language from their environment and easily learn how to speak, read and write if language is present in various forms.

We love to use the water spray bottle during outdoor play. Children use water spray bottle to trace their names and shapes drawn on the ground. 💦💦💦

Our pear tree is ready! The children picked pears from our tree and they washed it and try it. They all enjoy the process and appreciate the goodness of the freshly picked pears🍐🍐🍐 As per Maria Montessori “Children become like the things they love.”🌸 🍐🍐🍐 @ Novato, California

It’s gardening day today :) The children planted few herb plants in our garden box. We love to dig and play into the dirt. We show them on how the plants needed care, sunshine, water and love. 🌿🌱🌿 I was inspired how Maria Montessori said “ The teacher must have faith that the child will reveal himself through work.” @ Novato, California

The essence of independence is to do something for one’s self—-Maria Montessori

As I observed this child, he was independently lining up all the animals toys and he clapped at the end of his work. He felt so successful of lining it up and it shows the sense of order naturally.

Late post of our Father’s day celebration last June. Most dads, granddads and some parents joined us to celebrate this event with pizza, cold refreshments and goodies. The children also prepared a footprint painting as a gift of gratitude for the love and care from their dads and granddads. That day was full of love and laughters! You all are Amazing! Thank you for all those who participated in this lovely event.
