North Bay Children's Center We provide children and their families with comprehensive high-quality childcare and early education.

For over 30 years, NBCC has designed and implemented proven, effective programs that focus on school-readiness, foster self-sufficiency and promote health and wellness for families across the income spectrum. Our objective is to ensure that all children — particularly our most vulnerable — have access to those critical, high-quality, early learning experiences that build the foundation for life-long success.

Fresh from the garden and into little hands!

Our El Colegio kids practiced their cutting skills with cucumbers during a Garden of Eatin’® activity. Using kid-friendly knives, they worked on fine motor skills, independence and confidence—all while getting hands-on with fresh, healthy food.

Meet Jason Mendez, a welcoming face at NBCC’s Brayton campus! Jason loves helping families, answering questions and greeting the children with a smile and a wave as they pass by.

A lifelong Marin County resident, Jason enjoys soccer, hiking, traveling and golf. He’s also a soccer coach and travels to Denmark and Sweden each summer with teams competing internationally.

We’re so grateful to have Jason helping every family feel welcomed, safe and cared for at Brayton!



¡Conoce a Jason Mendez, una de las caras amables que recibe a las familias en el campus Brayton de NBCC! A Jason le encanta ayudar a las familias, responder preguntas y saludar a los niños con una sonrisa y un gesto de la mano cuando pasan por la recepción.

Jason ha vivido toda su vida en el condado de Marin y disfruta del fútbol, el senderismo, viajar y jugar al golf. También es entrenador de fútbol y cada verano viaja a Dinamarca y Suecia con equipos que compiten a nivel internacional.
