💜☀️Happy end of the school year and end of another wonderful dance season to all our students! We can’t wait to get back in the studio for our summer programs. First one starts next week. ☀️💜

Join us in congratulating our graduating senior Eliyah 🎓 A lengthy and beautiful trip down memory lane with these photos of our long-standing student, beloved classmate, team member, teachers assistant & more recently junior teacher 🥹 Thank you for all the value and joy you have contributed to our dance family. It has been a delight to watch you blossom from a young and eager-to-learn dancer, to a bright and driven young lady. Really exciting things on the horizon for you and we can’t wait to see all that the future will bring. No doubt you will continue to be a positive impact on all those who cross your path.

Eliyah’s favorite Splitz Dance memory:
“My favorite memories at Splitz are technique clinics and dance parties with the disco lights. All my favorite memories are all times when my teachers went out of their way to make dance fun for me and had my best interest in the forefront of their mind.”

Eliyah’s advice to younger dancers:
“My advice to younger dancers is always be the classmate or teammate who is the first to offer to help and start conversations with others. Lend a hair tie, give turn tips, the closer you are with your fellow dancers the more fun it is to dance with them. (Also stretch a little every day!) I will be attending UC Berkeley, studying political science, and I can’t wait to come back to visit my Splitz family!”

Brianna’s favorite Splitz Dance memory:
“Dancing at Splitz has been an incredible experience, especially since I started dancing later than most. During my time at Splitz, I’ve learned so much and made countless memories. However, my favorite memory was coming off the stage after my very first competition and celebrating with my teammates. The excitement and joy we shared in that moment is something I’ll never forget.”

Brianna’s advice to younger dancers:
“If I could give advice to younger dancers, I would tell them to always show up and give your best effort. Even on the days when you don’t feel like coming to practice, go anyway. Those are the days when you grow the most. Don’t worry about a mistake as it’s a part of learning. Trust the process, be patient with yourself, and enjoy every second, because the time goes by faster than you think.”

✨💜✨ 🩰 Congrats to our youngest dancers who braved the stage at our Annual Performance. Each year the Tiny Toes & Petite students are one of the highlights of our shows! From the moment they gather in the wings to watch the older dancers on stage before them, and the courageous first steps out in front of the audience, to the beautiful bows & curtseys full of proud smiles when they’re done… every memory is precious and instills a lasting confidence that carries far beyond performance day ✨💜✨

Thank you to all our behind-the-scenes helpers who make our shows run as smoothly as they do every year. Because of you we get to provide these performance opportunities for our dancers. From setting up at the theater, to backstage volunteers, to our amazing tech. crew, to costume hair & make-up helpers, ticket scanners, older students assisting the younger students, and teachers continued encouragement and love for our dancers… we see you and we have so much appreciation for our entire community. Every job matters and every person is an important part of the final product 💜
