Our learners got up close and personal with real fire trucks and police cars, and the excitement was amazing! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš”

But beyond all the fun, moments like this really do matter. So many of our learners are working on feeling comfortable with new people, new environments, and unexpected sounds and sights. Getting to explore that in a safe, familiar space with their team right there beside them is so incredibly valuable.

The bravery we saw from our kiddos today was everything. ๐ŸŒŸ And to the first responders who gave their time to make this happen, we are so grateful for you.

This is what community looks like. ๐Ÿ™

Meet Autumn! ๐ŸŒŸ

3 months in and already feels like sheโ€™s been here forever. Autumn brings 8 years of experience to our team and what makes her story so special is that she started as an RBT herself, so she has seen this field from every angle.

Ask her what she loves most about Sunrise and sheโ€™ll tell you: we show up for the kids and families who need it most, especially those who havenโ€™t always had access to ABA services. Thatโ€™s the kind of purpose that keeps you going every single day.

Oregon born and raised, PSU grad, and fully in her element here. Weโ€™re so lucky to have you Autumn ๐Ÿงก

Learner Mini Vlog Episode 3 is here ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿงก

This one features one of our learners showing off his slingshot and honestly it is one of the sweetest things we have filmed so far. The focus, the excitement, the pride on his face... it says it all.

Stay tuned for more episodes and if you havenโ€™t seen Episodes 1 and 2 yet, go check them out on our page ๐Ÿฅน

๐Ÿš‚ Train track construction: complete! ๐Ÿ’›

This learner had a vision and brought it to life one piece at a time โœจ

Safe to say the trains had plenty of places to go today ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿš‚

Todayโ€™s menu? A little imagination, a lot of creativity, a dash of life skill, and plenty of fun ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿณ

Watching our learners grow, explore, and bring their ideas to life is always the best feeling. Sometimes the best meals are the pretend ones ๐Ÿ˜„โœจ

Little hands doing big things โœจ

From putting items away to helping tidy up their space, these everyday moments are opportunities to build confidence, independence, and pride in what they can do.

And honestly? They were pretty proud of themselves too ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’› Circle time with Ms. Jennifer ๐Ÿ’›

Thereโ€™s nothing quite like watching Ms. Jennifer run circle time. The way she pulls every learner in, meets them where they are, and makes the whole room feel alive is something soo special to witness.

Ms. Jennifer, we are so grateful for the love and intention you bring to Sunrise every single day.

Drop a ๐Ÿ’› in the comments to show her some love!

โ€œJust one moreโ€ might be the most requested phrase in our building, but we LOVE it. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Jumping isnโ€™t just a fan favorite here. Itโ€™s one of the ways our learners get the sensory input and movement their bodies are asking for. That rhythmic, repetitive motion carries into everything else we do throughout their session.

When a kiddo is asking for one more jump, theyโ€™re telling us something important. And we listen every time. ๐Ÿ’›
