Dear NCS Community,

We’re in the home stretch.

As we make our final push for the 2025–2026 NCS Foundation Fund, we’re reminded how strong this community is.

Because of you, we’ve reached 75% of our $350,000 goal. That is real momentum. Now we’re working to raise the final $90,000.

This is where our community shows up.

The Foundation supports what your children experience every day:

* A music program that builds confidence and joy
* Handwork that develops focus, patience, and pride
* Art woven into learning across every grade
* Field trips that bring lessons to life

We're bringing the celebration to a new venue at HopMonk Tavern for a night of music and community fun. Enjoy open seating with a family-style meal, cash bar, games, a live auction, and a DJ to keep the party going.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day filled our campus with so much love. The children in your lives feel your support in every part of their day. You shape their confidence, their curiosity, and the way they move through the world.

At Novato Charter School, your involvement makes a real impact. The art, the music, the handwork, the circus arts, the garden, the festivals, the field trips, and the small class sizes all thrive because families and special friends invest in this community.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving your time, your care, and your generosity. You help keep this school strong for the children we all love.

Field trips are an important part of our education at Novato Charter School.

Our third graders spent the day at Slide Ranch, where the curriculum aligns beautifully with their farming block. This trip gives them a hands-on way to experience what they’re learning in the classroom. They explored planting, composting, and caring for animals. They milked goats, gathered eggs, cooked with farm-fresh ingredients, and learned how the land provides for us.

These real-life experiences deepen their understanding of farming life and help build a lasting connection to nature.

We’re grateful for a gorgeous day on the coastline and for the support of our Foundation, which ensures every child can experience these trips at no cost.
