As we make our final push for the 2025–2026 NCS Foundation Fund, we’re reminded how strong this community is.

Because of you, we’ve reached 75% of our $350,000 goal. That is real momentum. Now we’re working to raise the final $90,000.

Field trips are an important part of our education at Novato Charter School.

Our third graders spent the day at Slide Ranch, where the curriculum aligns beautifully with their farming block. This trip gives them a hands-on way to experience what they’re learning in the classroom. They explored planting, composting, and caring for animals. They milked goats, gathered eggs, cooked with farm-fresh ingredients, and learned how the land provides for us.

These real-life experiences deepen their understanding of farming life and help build a lasting connection to nature.

We’re grateful for a gorgeous day on the coastline and for the support of our Foundation, which ensures every child can experience these trips at no cost.
