NMBC Discovery Club

NMBC Discovery Club NMBC Discovery Club meets every Tuesday evening from September to May with a break during the month of December. It begins at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm.

Discovery Club is an outreach of the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, dedicated to sharing the love of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the wisdom of the Holy Bible to the children of the local communities. Children from Kindergarten to grade 6 will enjoy a time of play, participate in games and crafts, hear an age appropriate Bible lesson, and learn some fun gospel songs. Drinks and snac

ks are provided each night and there is absolutely no cost to you. Our Discovery Club directors are Adam & Katie Beach. Our teachers and helpers are: Roy & Brenda Joseph, Donnie & Sonya Jennings, Ben & Brittany Wadsworth, Brian & Shannon Comley, Tom Lee, Shelly Ham, Tom & Christy Kluh, and Brian Houck. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide transportation. Drop off time is 6:30pm and pick up time is 8:30pm.

Join us at Guppy Gulch on Tuesday, August 18! The whole family is invited to come out for a day of water fun. We will meet at Guppy Gulch at 9:30 AM so that we can enter as a group.

If you plan to attend, you need to go online to the guppy Gulch website, fill out the waiver (there is a separate one for adults and minors), print it out and bring it along with $27 cash on August 18. Don't forget to bring a bagged lunch, if you have a cooler that's great, if not, we will have some coolers available.

Please wear black shorts, a black tshirt and bring a towel.

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of our children at Nottingham?

Have you been thinking about where God can use you in the church?

Discovery Club will be starting back up in a few weeks, and we need more teachers, workers, and helpers!

If you are currently working in Discovery Club or if you'd like to work in Discovery Club, there will be a special meeting in the choir loft immediately following the morning service on Sunday, August 16.

Come out and bring the whole family to our Family Fun Night on Tuesday, July 14 starting at 5:30 PM. We will have pizza, chips, and ice cream. If you plan to attend, please bring a drink!
There will be swimming (please wear modest swim swimsuits and bring your own towel), wiffle ball, and lots of fun and fellowship!
If the weather permits, we will have fireworks at 9 PM!
