Congratulations to our CBE Undergrad Chem-E-Car team for competing at the AIChE student conference in Orlando, Florida. They won the “Safety and Chemical Engineering Education (SAChE) Award” for the best application of the principles of chemical process safety. Two of our undergrads placed 2nd and 3rd in the poster competition where 460 students from around the country presented their research. Great job team!!

The JP Kohn Scholarship is a fund dedicated to supporting undergraduate students in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The 9th Annual Graduate Research Symposium was a success! Congratulations to the following Student Speaker Award winners - Mengdi Liu, Mayesha Sahir Mim, Rachel Ollier, Bo Su, Ning Wang, and Runyao Zho. Additional congratulations go out to the following Excellent Poster Award winners - Damian Agi, Kyla Jones, Etinosa Osaro, Daniel Montes Pinzon, Deanna Poirier, and Connor Schmidt.
The symposium is planned, organized, and executed by our graduate students. The forum gives our students an opportunity to present their research to a diverse audience, including faculty, and guests from industry.
