Congratulations to the Cushwa Center’s 38 grant and award recipients for 2026! Included among this year’s awardees are five inaugural recipients of Gutiérrez Research Awards.

Funds will support visits to the University of Notre Dame Archives and to repositories in Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, New York, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C., as well as international destinations including Chiayi City, Dublin, Lima, London (Ontario), Madrid, Medellín, Oaxaca, Paris, Rome, Salamanca, Seville, and Western Batangas.
