April 8-10th, 2021 Wash Hall Mainstage
Directed by Elizabeth Maroshick For more than ten years, Notre Dame had not had a musical on its campus. Then, in 1997, Kelly McGann, a resident of PE decided that this needed to change. From this, the Pasquerilla East Musical Company, or PEMCo, was born. Since its inception, PEMCo has been the largest student-run musical theater company on campus. Students d
irect the shows, act in the shows, build the sets, perform in the pit orchestra, design the costumes....they do everything! Each year, PEMCo puts on three productions: the Fall Show, the Mainstage, and the spring musical revue. The Mainstage began in 1997, when Kelly McGann organized the first PEMCo production: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The PEMCo Revue was started in 2002 and showcases the talent of all the members of the company, which cannot be done in a musical. Most recently, the Fall Show began in 2008 and has become a staple of the PEMCo season.
