This past April, ND Clubs from around the world engaged in acts of service as part of Notre Dame's Global Day of Service. The Notre Dame Club of Charlotte took this opportunity to support their long-standing partner— Holy Angels.

Holy Angels is a nonprofit organization in Belmont, NC, that provides specialized, round-the-clock care for children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions. The ND Club of Charlotte assisted them with a landscaping & mulching project on the Holy Angels campus.

Notre Dame's Global Day of Service is truly Global!

This year, on April 25, the ND Club of Brazil organized a nationwide clothing donation campaign. With the support of alumni, the ND Club of Brazil established collection points at Catholic churches and hospitals across Brazil's major cities, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, and Recife. This donation campaign is crucial for many in the country who are in urgent need of warm clothing and shoes as the southern winter approaches.

Founded in 1969, Pine Street Inn is the largest homeless services provider in New England, offering a comprehensive range of services to more than 2,400 individuals daily, including housing with support, emergency shelter, street outreach and workforce development. Their goal is to end homelessness by moving individuals beyond the streets and shelter, making the safety and stability of a home and community a reality for all.

Alumni of the University of Notre Dame have served the Pine Street Inn for decades, both through dinner service and as board members and ambassadors and this past April, the Notre Dame Club of Boston received a recognition from the Pine Street Inn, for their consistent and dedicated service to the Inn. As part of Notre Dame's Global Day of Service, members of the Notre Dame Club of Greater Boston returned to the Inn once more, continuing their strong tradition of serving the community.

For the 2025 Notre Dame Global Day of Service, Priscilla Queste '18 from the Notre Dame Club of Italy partnered with the Comunità di Sant’Egidio to support the EcoLab of Peace. At this humanitarian aid center, volunteers from the Youth for Peace organize and sort clothing, educational materials, and other essentials for distribution in Italy and Ukraine.

By joining this effort, Priscilla contributed to a mission grounded in dignity, solidarity, and global care. As we look ahead to the 2026 Notre Dame Global Day of Service, we’re inspired by this example of what it means to be a Force for Good—no matter where you are.

How will you serve during the 2026 Notre Dame Global Day of Service?
