📣 Applications for the 4th annual Fischoff Summer Chamber Music Intensive, in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame Arts Initiative, are now open! 📣
Fischoff's Summer Intensive supports young musicians as they dive deeply into the world of chamber music. Students will work intimately in small ensembles to strengthen both performance and life skills such as collaboration, communication, leadership, respect, and creative problem-solving through chamber music.
The program is open to students entering grade 6+ who are intermediate to advanced players of strings, brass, winds, and piano. Enrollment is limited to 34 students, ensuring that each participant receives a personalized experience in a collegial atmosphere.
Students will work closely with Fischoff’s quartet-in-residence Telegraph Quartet and professional musicians in a variety of settings, including chamber music coaching sessions, masterclasses, workshops, solo and ensemble performances, and community engagement opportunities. Students receive free admission to all faculty concerts, and the program finale will be a capstone performance of all participating ensembles in the LaBar Recital Hall at the University of Notre Dame’s O’Neill Hall of Music.
To view audition requirements and apply for the program, visit www.fischoff.org/education/summer-intensive. The deadline to apply is Sunday, April 19, at 11:59 PM (EST). A $50 early bird discount is available through Sunday, March 22. Submit your application early to reserve your spot in the 2026 Intensive!
