What a way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to every scholar, family, community partner, faculty member, and friend who joined us for Open House! Your presence, support, and excitement filled our halls with the kind of energy that reminds us why we do what we do.

A special thank you to the organizations that showed up and set up to provide valuable information, resources, and support for our scholars and families:

Last night was more than an Open House, it was the beginning of something special. We are grateful for every conversation, every connection, and every person who showed up to support the scholars of Notasulga High School.

And on Monday morning, we’re back!

We can’t wait to welcome our scholars through the doors as we get to work feeding their minds, nurturing their gifts, and helping them grow into everything they were destined to become.

To our families and community: keep showing up, keep partnering with us, and keep being a part of the journey. We have so much in store for this school year, and we want you with us every step of the way!

Institute Day wasn’t just a kickoff to the 2026–2027 school year, it was a statement.

The energy was real. The pride was evident. The unity was undeniable. NHS showed up, showed OUT, and made it clear that we are stepping into this school year with purpose, passion, and a renewed sense of pride.

But this energy doesn’t happen alone.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Macon County Schools for the continued support, resources, and commitment you pour into our schools, students, and staff. We are grateful for the leadership of our Board of Education members and public officials who continue to champion education and support the work happening across our district.

When a community believes in its schools, everybody wins.

And at NHS, we’re ready to make this year one to remember. We’re raising the standard, strengthening our culture, embracing our community, and creating new possibilities for our scholars.

A WEEK LATER… AND WE’RE STILL IN AWE.

It has officially been a week since our Day of Service at Notasulga High School, and we are still overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and service shown to our school.

When we look back at that day, we see so much more than a beautified campus. We see community. We see commitment. We see generosity. We see people who believe in the power of a school and the possibilities that exist when we come together.

To every teacher, staff member, volunteer, community partner, alumnus, family member, student, friend, and supporter who gave your time, energy, talents, and resources, thank you. You showed up, you worked, you served, and you poured into Notasulga High School in ways that will not soon be forgotten.

Our amazing teachers and staff continue to remind us what it means to have people who genuinely care about the place they call home. Their dedication, pride, and willingness to go the extra mile are a beautiful reflection of the spirit that lives within our school family.

And to everyone who came alongside us, you didn’t just help us prepare our campus, you helped us prepare for our scholars. Every area cleaned, every space refreshed, every flower planted, and every helping hand represented a message to our students: You matter. You are valued. You are worth the investment.

These photos are still just a small glimpse of an unforgettable day, and we have so many more moments to share.

One week later, our hearts are still full. Our gratitude is still overflowing. And our excitement for what is ahead is greater than ever.

🚨Blue Devil Families!

Our 2026–2027 Open House is happening tomorrow from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at Notasulga High School, and we can’t wait to welcome you!

We’ll begin together in the auditorium before families are escorted to classrooms to meet teachers and learn about the upcoming school year. Community organizations will also be on-site with resources and information to support our scholars and families.

On-site registration for the 26-27 school year will be available from 4:30–6:00 p.m.

Let’s kick off a great school year together!

We look forward to seeing all of our Blue Devil families tomorrow.

As we prepare to embark on a new school year, we are incredibly grateful for everyone who joined us Monday, July 27th for our Meet the Administrative Team event. Your presence, encouragement, and support made the evening truly special and reaffirmed the strength of the Notasulga High School community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Superintendent, Dr. Melissa Williams, Board Member, Mrs. SaWanda Wilson, and Commissioner, Mrs. Jan Fountain, for taking the time to celebrate this new beginning with us. Your support of our scholars, faculty, staff, and community is deeply appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you to our families, alumni, faculty, staff, scholars, and community supporters for coming out to meet our leadership team and begin building the relationships that will carry us through a successful school year. Together, we are laying the foundation for a year rooted in excellence, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our scholars.

🚨 DAY OF SERVICE UPDATE 🚨

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve adjusted the schedule for our Notasulga High School Day of Service on Saturday, August 1.

Volunteer Check-In: 12:30 PM (CST)
Day of Service: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (CST)

We’re continuing to monitor the weather and will communicate any additional changes if necessary.

There’s still time to join us! We invite students, families, alumni, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and community members to come help us beautify our campus and prepare for an amazing school year.

Every helping hand makes a difference. Together, we can show our Blue Devil pride and invest in the future of Notasulga High School.
