Found this little gem last summer. lol, yep an old school gen 1 SBC. Ima install as is in a 1995 Chevy short wheel base stepside. Nope, not rebuilding or pumping it up “YET”. It was just born to eat EL ESS for breakfast! With a two barrel carb at that! 😜

Can’t help it. Why do I enjoy building stuff like this so much? I get so aggravated climbing on top of engines and dropping tools then have to climb underneath and get dirt and oil in my eyes. Much better on the work bench. Anybody wanna guess what this is going to be? 😃

1996 Chevy Vortec 350CI top end engine rebuild. New interior and exterior door handles. Door speakers. New radio. New A/C. New headlamp and turn signal lenses. And a new windshield.

2007 Chevy Tahoe.
Symptoms: rough idle, low oil pressure, terrible fuel economy, engine light on. Well yeah! 🙄
Problem : Collapsed lifter and bent pushrod. Cyl. #6 exhaust.
Cause : AFM, ( Active Fuel Management )
Fix : Top end rebuild kit, includes all new gaskets, seals, lifters (AFM and normal lifters, more on that later) and all new head bolts for both driver and passenger side head work. New pushrod and lifter holder had to be purchased separately.
