Game Design is a fun, engaging introduction to programming class or ages 8-12. The class begins on April 25th and runs through May 30th at the First Parish of Westwood. Class is $200 and receive 10% off if you mention this postcard at registration!

Register today for Game Design with MakeCode!

Game Design with MakeCode is an after-school program where students will learn to program a game using Microsoft MakeCode. They will learn basic coding concepts and create a fun, interactive game that they can share with friends and family. With the guidance of experienced instructors, students will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, while having fun and being creative.

The class will meet on Tuesday evening at First Parish of Westwood (252 Nahatan Street, Westwood, MA 02090) from 5 - 6 pm starting April 25th and ending May 30th. Class is $200 for six, one-hour sessions.

We had lots of fun at last night’s robotics workshop! We made games in Scratch and our own game controllers with Makey Makey. Can’t wait for next week when we start with Arduino!
