Hi everyone! With the New Year I am offering tutoring lessons for K-4 students on reading, math, analytical thinking, general mentorship, homework, beginner piano, or anything else you can think of for your child! I can help children who are behind on certain subjects or get ahead on certain subjects. I can also be someone fun to read with for kindergarteners, first graders, and even second graders on their 20 minutes of reading a day. First lessons are free and additional lessons will be $10 for 45-60 minutes or you can buy a package of 10 lessons for $90.
As a reminder here are my strategies and qualifications:
Strategies:
-Learn student needs from parent.
-Lesson 1: Spend time connecting with student and assess level.
-Future lessons will be designed based on children and parent’s needs.
-I always come prepared with appropriate material include books, flash cards, games, paper, pens or whatever else we need.
My qualifications:
-TAG student
-Meritorious Honor Roll
-soccer assistant coach for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders
-taught my brother to fluently read
-LOVE children
-playing piano for 6 years and performed in many shows
-have been working with students on analytical thinking, reading, piano, math facts, etc and I am LOVING it!
