This Monday, June 8th at the New London County Extension Center. Doors open at 5 pm.

“A One Health Approach to Farm Health and Safety”
Sara Tomis, Assistant Extension Educator for One Health – Agriculture and Community Engagement at the University of Connecticut, will be providing a talk on June 8 at UConn Extension - New London County!
Agricultural activities are rewarding pursuits but may expose us to germs that can make us sick. Using a One Health approach that explores how human, animal, and environmental health are connected, she will discuss four high risk, low prevalence diseases and ways to prevent them.
The public is invited to the presentation and the meeting. The event is free!
