Our goal is to provide quality care and emotional security while providing unlimited opportunities for your child to grow, learn, and develop. Children reach their fullest potential if given the freedom to explore, create, and problem solve with materials appropriate for their developmental age. The program is enriched with arts and crafts, story time, music and movement, and guided free play with a variety of manipulative materials. We provide the children with a safe and nurturing environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development with an outstanding curriculum provided by an experienced and dedicated professional staff. Our program is open even when publics schools are closed. The center closes for major holidays, New years’, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after Thanksgiving. Hours of operation are 6:00am to 10:00pm, 7 days/week. We are looking for someone with open flexibility between those hours. Reliability and flexibility are a must! Experience in childcare preferred.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Overall childcare and supervision,
• Interacting with and engaging children of all ages in a developmentally appropriate manner,
• Providing age appropriate learning experiences and enriching activities for children,
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom,
• Assistance with child hygiene/diaper changes/toilet training,
• Assisting with, preparing, and carrying out curriculum activities and lesson plans,
• Serving snacks and supervising mealtimes,
• Moving between under 3 and over 3 rooms,
• Basic cleaning and housekeeping chores.

Attention parents in order to ensure the safety of all children in our care we have implemented a traveling policy effective immediately. Please see your child's teacher to sign the new policy.
Effective June 24, 2020, anyone traveling into Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.
Any one that travels in one of the states listed on https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/Covid-19-Knowledge-Base/Travel-In-or-Out-of-CT must quarantine for 14 days before coming back to the center. This includes parents, children, and employees. Failure to follow the travel advisory on executive order 7BBB may result in termination of employment or disenrollment of care.
