Student organization at Three Rivers Community College Jump out of the box, and start creating your own culture." -Steve Hager

"You can investigate who's behind 9/11 and the global system of banking and military that manufacturers war for profit, but don't forget the culture you create is much more important. Don't think culture is something you buy in a box or watch on television, it's actually the ceremonies that you and your tribe create.

Just wanted to give you all a shout out and thank you for hanging in there with The Cultural Society. Our advisors, President, Treasurer and Active Members have all been spread pretty thin lately. We are only human, but we're still here keeping CS happening. We are hoping to build up new membership this semester. It is *amazing* how many people attend our events and support us as a student organization with local community ties. That being said, the number of people planning those events and getting it done is less than a *few* peeps. Ginny Flood (acting prez) got to speak to some new faces at Three Rivers Community College's New Student Welcome and will be sending out information via email and Facebook by the second week in September. Also, look for our table at "GET THE SCOOP" - an event hosted by Trcc Student Programs Office that offers free ice cream and info about student clubs.

CS rocked the New Student Welcome :) It was a pleasure to see some new faces and meet some new potential members. I snapped a quick pick of the sign up screen, we decorated our table with past event flyers... Check right here for information on upcoming events. Here's to a great Fall!

Special shout out to The Thick Chronicles: A Body Image Story. The production was moving, funny, educational, inspirational and all that good stuff in between. And what a great turn out - thanks to the audience for showing up & being a great crowd. Peace.
