Over this past year, NHS has created virtual content for our supporters to view from the comfort of their own home. Our videos range from folklore to floods. We're in the process of creating even more videos about James L. Smith, the Norwich Millionaires' Triangle, and the Norwich Freedom Trail.

Sister Murals Project - Norwich | Patronicity Help create artwork to confront racial injustice, build community, and educate about local histories in New London, Old Lyme, East Lyme, and Norwich.

Sankofa Education and Leadership, Inc. and the Hayes Family donated money to Africaphilantropies, Inc. to help the students in Togo Africa be safe due to COVID-19. We had originally thought the students needed more help with Personal Protective Equipment but what they needed more was to be able to socially distance and they needed more desks. With our generous donation, they built the desk, please see the photos below.

As an organization, our mission works to prepare, recognize, and reward marginalized and under-served youth in the Greater Norwich Area Education District in Eastern Connecticut. Our programs provide pathways to education, leadership, community and civic engagement to students, and partnership opportunities with community organizations and leaders to develop and promote enrichment programs to help underserved and marginalized youth succeed.

We are excited to launch this campaign and hope that you will join us in our effort to raise $10,000 to serve the children and youth in our community.

If you or someone you know is in need of Thanksgiving dinner this year; St. Vincent de Paul Place Norwich is taking orders for pick-up or delivery of Thanksgiving dinner boxes. Please see the flyer for details.
