An exciting new pop-up at Accord Center: Costume Thrifting at the Garment District in Cambridge! This Saturday, 10/17, 9:00-2:00. Grades 8-YA.

Bring your ideas and our art teacher, Lisa Grize, will help magic your findings into a Halloween or cosplay costume, or a new outfit back at the Center! Each person will have $25 to spend.

Our teen and young adult friends had so much fun cheering each other on at Boston Bowl (Hanover) last night while also muching on pizza and other snacks! They can't wait until the next Teen Night Out (11/6)!

“Last time I played this game, I was in middle school, and I didn’t like it. But it’s fun now?”

It is! Because while “Tell Tale” looks like a game for younger kids, it’s so much more than that.

Conversation is HARD. We tell kids to “stay on topic,” but that’s not really a thing people do- pay attention to your own conversations- if you start by talking about a certain TV show- does it stay there? Or did that topic on Ted Lasso remind you of something that happened last week in your own life and you brought it up?

Conversation winds. Tell Tale gives practice in this- and it can be messy!

Sometimes it can feel a little hard or frustrating while kids are developing conversation skills… but keep it up- because it eventually gets more fun!

(Tell Tale is also tolerable even for “game hating” parents- it’s small, easy to learn, and plays through relatively quickly!)
