I’ve been asked about Cody a lot lately- usually in a little whisper like, “Is Cody… still with us?”

He is! Cody is a little old man- 14 1/2!

Cody retired from Accord School after 12 years, and is enjoying life at his dad’s house with his cousin Casey and buddy Cooper. ❤️🥰

I’m lucky enough to see him regularly!

🚨 Fall 2026 Update: I have very limited spots left for South Shore neurodiversity assemblies this fall. Returning schools- I’ve created an updated program that builds on last year's assembly to keep those "I already saw that!" kids fully engaged! 😉

I’m also booking student assemblies and staff professional development for Winter/Spring 2027 and Fall 2028 for schools beyond Greater Boston.

I had to finish up some work this afternoon, and found myself sort of glued to the front desk of The Accord Center.

A mixed age group of young people happily came in, cameras and phones in hand, ready for their photography class.

A little while later, a group of young men started to trickle in for their young adult social group.

Two of the young men greeted one another warmly, and said, explicitly, how happy they were to see one another. They asked about one another’s pets, and kept the most pleasant conversation going for several minutes. As other guys arrived, they joined the conversation.

I delighted in eavesdropping. It was just so nice to hear young people enjoying chatting with one another.

The world tends to view the neurodivergent as the ones who need to shift.

Hm. 🤔
