The Olive Tree Greek Education and Cultural Center Offering Greek Education and Culture classes to children from preschool-middle school.

Today we had the honor of celebrating Greek Independence Day at the MA State House in the presence of dignitaries such as the mayor of Athens, the General Consul of Greece, senators and more. Special thanks to Eleni Vidalis and the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England for inviting us and our student Stavroula Mantis to represent with her beautiful essay “The Spirit of Greece.” Ζήτω η Ελλάδα! Σήμερα φτιάχνουμε μαρτάκια! Τoday we are making our March bracelets, a Greek tradition where we wear this for the month of March to “protect” us from the early sun of spring.

Great opportunity to learn about the Greek Revolution with the movie showing “Cliffs of Freedom” at the Maliotis Cultural Center on 3/28.

Thank you to Dr. Sophia Pasedis and The Hellenic Nursing Home for welcoming us this year as our students sang Greek Christmas carols and recited poems. Special thanks to our families and students who came out to Canton to participate in this wonderful event. Χρόνια πολλά! Καλά Χριστούγεννα!
