This , we’re shining a little extra love on the wonderfully creative Maggie Glisan, owner + creative heart behind Maggie Glisan! 💕

Maggie has a gift for making the everyday feel extraordinary. From beautifully styled tables and swoon-worthy cheese boards to whimsical cookies and thoughtful, personalized touches, she believes that gathering people together should feel joyful, welcoming + never intimidating.

And her love of entertaining goes way back! Inspired by flipping through her mom’s copy of Martha Stewart Living in the early ’90s, Maggie turned a childhood fascination into a lifelong passion. Along the way, she built an impressive career at Better Homes & Gardens, where she worked as a designer, art director + food editor before bringing her own creative vision to life through Oh Hey Magpie.

When she’s not dreaming up her next beautiful creation, you’ll find Maggie enjoying life in Beaverdale with her husband Justin, their little boy + beloved rescue pup, George Stanley.

We feel so fortunate to have Maggie share her talents with our Rose Farm community. Her creativity is inspiring, her attention to detail is unmatched, and her warm, welcoming spirit makes every gathering feel like something special. Maggie, thank you for reminding us that the sweetest moments in life are often the ones shared around a table. We are so grateful for YOU!

Our cutest member of the Rose Farm team would like your attention, please. Meet Oscar, professional garden greeter, The Shoppe supervisor, flower field inspector + all-around good boy.

His official responsibilities include welcoming guests, keeping an eye on the gardens, supervising the Busy Bees and making sure absolutely no one leaves the farm without a little extra joy.

If you spot Oscar during your next visit, be sure to say hello. He’s always happy to make a new friend. 🐾

This , we’re celebrating the incredibly talented Mary Sanigular, a pastry chef, educator + one of the wonderful people who brings so much creativity to Rose Farm!

Mary’s love for creating in the kitchen began as a little girl and grew through years of inspiration from the incredible cooks in her life and the beautiful French pâtisseries she discovered while traveling through Europe. That passion eventually led her to earn a degree in Baking + Pastry from the Culinary Institute at The Art Institute of Denver, where she refined her craft and expanded her culinary expertise.

Over the years, Mary’s career has taken her from summer camp kitchens and wedding catering to food styling, sourdough baking at a local micro-bakery + leading pastry teams in restaurants. She was recognized as one of the Iowa Restaurant Association’s 2022 40 Women to Watch in Hospitality, and her pastry team has earned multiple Best Desserts of Story County awards.

An Iowa native with German roots, Mary is also a devoted wife + mother who believes some of life’s sweetest memories are made together in the kitchen. Her approach to teaching is warm + full of encouragement, inspiring others to try something new, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun along the way.

We are so grateful to have Mary sharing her talents with our Rose Farm community. 🤍 And there are plenty of opportunities to join her in the kitchen this fall + holiday season:
