Surviving is all about digging into the connections between symptoms--so when my kids' OT and I set out to design the world's first school that's actually designed for like mine, we started by digging into the science of how the body and the brain interact--and most importantly, how we can actually use those levers to our advantage. Soon, that led us to start experimenting with how we could use those levers to drive : the reality that the human brain is constantly rewiring itself to better perform those tasks you frequently as it to do. Not to spoil the story, but it worked--leading to a pioneering methodology for reducing or even removing learning disabilities like and . What could be better than making sure the needs of kids with are included in the conversation--and in the process, shifting the conversation about what is possible for education as a whole.
