Two of our friends from the toddler class are moving up to preschoolers. One of them is Ms. Lucy. Here is a picture of her on her first day in October 2024 and a look at her now in August 2026. I think the face says it all! 5 months old and she was smiling and laughing from the start. I know she’s going to do great in the next room! It’s such a blessing to get to watch them grow.

This week we spent time in the Physics Lab.
Did you know the ability to slide down a slide is an action of physics?
Gravity pulls your body downward, while friction controls how fast or slow you move on the slide!

Tie dye has become a tradition here at A Hundred Acre Woods! The kids made these shirts during our all day of outdoor play a couple of weeks back. They turned out so nice!

We definitely had some fun in the sun today! It was our first ever complete day of outdoor play in conjuncture with our camping unit. We only went in for potty breaks! The kids spent a good chunk of the morning playing with the water table. They invented games, chased one another, and the big kids even had a camp out! These are memories we’ll hold onto forever, and we hope the kids do too!

Aloha is often used to say hello and goodbye, and that’s how fast it seems our Alphabet Island unit went. But we had fun, learned about island animals and objects that start with each letter of the alphabet, and made a beautiful isle keepsake to take home each day.
